In addition to overseeing creative development for the RHA filler line, I was hands-on and did the work. Our team was tasked with delivering a reimagined RHA brand that reflected a unique look and feel in the aesthetic filler space, de-emphasizing a reliance on cliched tactics and relying on a more dramatic use of black and white highlighted with color.
The following are some examples of the well-received consumer-facing work we produced including a series of in-office videos, a patient flip book, patient brochure, and desktop countercards for the HCP office.
Shout out to Miguel Ortiz and Emily Marolt for their willingness to explore and collaborate on a new look and feel.

Our team was tasked with delivering a reimagined RHA brand that reflected a unique look and feel in the aesthetic filler space, de-emphasizing a reliance on cliched tactics and relying on a more dramatic use of black and white highlighted with color. And the best part was, we had no budget. So we relied on data, our creativity, and each other to do more with what we had available to us.
The following social media campaigns resulted in the highest engagements rates for the RHA brand, targeted to the consumer and healthcare professional audiences alike. I took the liberty of editing out the extensive ISI at the end of each video.
Shout out to KB for the collaboration!

The TECNIS® Toric intraocular lens is proven to have a very small degree of rotation once in the recipient’s eye, the key driver to a toric lens correcting astigmatism as intended. The campaign highlights the fact the lens does not move, and ties this feature to the benefit of improved clinical outcomes.
This major healthcare product launch started at a large trade show with a hugely successful, integrated campaign that then rolled out nationwide.

This series of direct mailers was created to influence physicians to refer their patients to a medical oncologist for pre-operative PERJETA + Herceptin® (trastuzumab)-based therapy for HER2+ breast cancer. Designed to start with a positive message introduction, this piece continued the story as it unfolded to its final form resembling the “+” sign and emphasizing the PERJETA + therapy and its positive impact while leaving the physician with a lasting impression and clear call to action.
The second series was sent as a 3-part follow-up reminder to once again refer patients to a medical oncologist for PERJETA + Herceptin. Complete with an attached prescription notepad, clips, and pointed post-it notes these made a memorable impression and a clear point.

U.S. CAD is one of the largest Autodesk resellers in the nation and my partner and I were fortunate enough to help build them into that with solid thinking like this, targeting Engineers. We started with a brand "re-fresh" featuring a revamped wordmark system that could apply on the national level and work for regional offices as well as supporting brand identity. From there we developed a color palette to suit each individual expertise they serve, then it was time to tie it all together. Below are a few highlights.

- Ad series for the San Diego office
- Double-sided announcement ad for their

When launching a start-up on a limited budget with an established field of national competitors AND local challengers nearby, you know you’ll be in for an uphill battle. And that’s exactly the kind of thing I really wanted to throw my weight behind, pun intended of course.
The husband and wife owners, both long-time fitness buffs and former college athletes, approached me to help them launch their brand from scratch. I couldn’t help but admire their passion for fitness and the goal to bring it to the good people of Scottsdale. They had such a great story to tell, and I couldn't wait to tell it. This was the perfect opportunity to kick-down some solid thinking and deliver my brand of relevant disruption.
Focusing solely on the local market, I developed a plan to get them maximal brand exposure and build awareness, while keeping it lean and mean. By clearly conveying the personal empowerment proposition that spoke in real terms to their target audience, and creating an inviting atmosphere geared toward personal attention, we hit the ground running. We placed quarter page ads, ran offers through the local mailer, put up banners, and used social media to our advantage.

We’ve worked with Marriott for over 13 years now creating everything from ads, direct mail, fliers, and on-site promotions, to eblasts, and landing pages. After proving that we were up for any task, and introducing big agency level thinking, service, efficiencies, and effectiveness (on a much more cost-effective scale), we were routinely awarded more projects, more services, and more trust to get the job done well. Thus we were given the freedom to create a unique voice and custom collateral for many of the individual properties throughout the US, and among the multiple Marriott brands.
The following are a few highlights:
• A series of promotional posters and fliers for a 3-part fine dining event featuring premium spirits
• Sunday brunch promotional poster and flier
• Side-by-side space elevator signage for Crosswinds and JW’s Steakhouse on-site eateries

I've worn many hats in my day, and Volunteer Dad is one I'm most proud of. As the President of the El Modena Football Boosters, I led a resurgence that upped the game, the brand, and the support levels to record scores! The best part of it all was that some great young people (including my son and daughter) got to be a part of something special.
